CGI will help Aktia improve operational efficiency and accelerate product and service development through digitalization and IT managed services
Helsinki, October 11 November 2022 /PRNewswire/ – CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) and Aktia (OMXH: AKTIA) have entered into a strategic partnership and CGI will be responsible for a major portion of Aktia Bank’s IT services, including the development and maintenance of 150 key task application. The partnership, valued at approximately 50 MEUR (approximately 75 MCAD), will enable Aktia to enhance the operation and development of existing banking products and services, and accelerate the development of new products and services to improve customer experience and increase competitiveness in today’s rapidly changing environment Effective in the financial industry.
