Dublin –(Business Wire)–“Neutral Hosting Market by Technology, Spectrum, Wireless Type, Solution, Deployment Mode, and Industry Vertical, 2022-2027” report has been added to ResearchAndMarkets.com’s supply.
This neutral host report provides an in-depth analysis of next-generation neutral host architectures, technologies, and potential application areas. The report also discusses the core and RAN elements of neutral host networks as well as potential market opportunities, stakeholder analysis, business models and regulatory analysis.
For years, mobile network operators have relied on Distributed Antenna System (DAS) solutions to meet indoor traffic demands in places where people gather. This includes stadiums, convention centers, airports, major hotels, shopping centers, corporate buildings, university campuses, transportation systems and other high-traffic locations.
Traditionally, MNOs built and operated indoor DAS networks themselves, but it is often considered an expensive deployment model and limits the space for multiple MNOs to deploy the same capacity. Neutral host networks are considered the best solution to overcome the problem of multiple operators handling high traffic in densely populated areas.
In a neutral hosting model, a third party builds and operates a single wireless network and hosts multiple mobile network operators to connect wireless customers. Third-party hosting operators initially fund neutral hosting deployments, which are ultimately paid for by the MNO through a recurring payment system.
The neutral host model can also replace the WiFi solutions deployed by operators to address indoor wireless traffic issues. The DAS-based neutral host model overcomes common problems associated with carrier WiFi, such as network security, network performance, user mobility, and interference and service degradation associated with unlicensed spectrum.
The report also evaluates the competitive landscape of next-generation networks and the products and services of selected vendor companies. The report includes market forecasts for next-generation host neutral networks from 2022 to 2027. The report also provides specific recommendations for stakeholders.
