Charlotte, NC –(Business Wire)–Horizon Investments, LLC, an industry-renowned firm that provides modern, purpose-based investment management, announced today that Calvin DeBoer, former head of digital products and technology, has been promoted to Chief Technology and Operating Officer (CTO/COO).

DeBoer has previously overseen a broad range of digital products and technology initiatives, including software tools for employees, software for consultants, information security, and more. In this newly created role, he will retain those responsibilities while overseeing the company’s trading, operations, performance reporting and data functions.
gentlemen. DeBoer has been part of the Horizon team since 2007 as a research analyst. Shortly thereafter, he became head of ETF trading, and over the years has continued to add more senior positions and responsibilities to his area of oversight. As part of a recent promotion, Mr. DeBoer also joined the company’s executive committee.
