Ewing-Leavitt Insurance Acquires Arvada Agency

Loveland-based Ewing-Leavitt Insurance has announced the acquisition of Arvada-based Stolte Insurance Agency.

Rodger Bailey, owner of Stolte Insurance Agency, and two of his employees will join Ewing-Leavitt Insurance and the Leavitt Group.

“We are very excited to be part of Ewing-Leavitt Insurance and the Leavitt Group and can’t wait to start our journey with them. We look forward to the mutual support and resources we can share,” Bailey said in a news release.

Stolte Insurance has a branch in Arvada, where it has been located since its inception over 40 years ago.

“We are delighted to have Rodger, Laurie and John join us to help meet their clients’ insurance needs,” said Steve Ewing, co-owner of Ewing-Leavitt’s agency. “They will bring a great team and a new location so we can better serve more Denver metro area residents and business owners with the best insurance options.”

Stolte Insurance will retain the Stolte name, and its employees, contact information, website and locations will remain the same.

Leavitt Group is a privately held insurance brokerage firm with more than 200 locations in 27 states.of

Human Bean Donates Funds and Toys to Santa Cops

The toys were collected at a Human Bean toy drive on Nov. 17, according to a press release. 3-Dec 4. A representative from the Santa Cops in Larimer County kicked off the event as a guest barista Nov.3 at Loveland’s Crossroads Boulevard location. On that day, 10% of sales plus cash donations from customers were donated to the Larimer County Santa Police.

Krista Smith, Assistant Director of Operations for Human Bean Northern Colorado said, “We hope that the toys raised and the money raised will take some of the financial stress out of the holidays on parents in need, and we hope they will keep their children put a smile on his face,” he said in a press release.of

The Santa Cops of Larimer County is a non-profit organization where volunteers from the area police department deliver toys to children in families who apply to their program. Learn more about the Larimer County Santa Police at santacopslarimercounty.org.

Breeze Thru Car Wash reports $98,000 donation

Breeze Thru Car Wash recently announced that it will donate $98,333 to area nonprofits throughout 2022.

As part of its annual fundraising program, Breeze Thru has 12 locations in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, hosting at least one fundraiser per month throughout the year, according to a press release.

Their fundraising efforts include the annual Larimer County Search and Rescue Fundraiser, the Cheyenne FC Fundraiser and Wildlands Restoration Volunteer Fundraiser, to which they donate 100% of sales proceeds on select dates and locations organize. Through these efforts, it raised $20,010 for Larimer County Search and Rescue, $7,770 for wildland restoration volunteers and $6,843 for Cheyenne Football Club, the release said.

During its website fundraiser, Breeze Thru is donating $1 for each car washed during the fundraiser, or $400, whichever is greater. It raised $63,710 for 70 community organizations during its 2022 live fundraising event.

Breeze Thru combines its fundraising efforts with other volunteer activities such as community cleanups, such as the annual Loveland River Cleanup, the release said.

“It’s always inspiring to see the community come together to support each other, and we’re excited to contribute to our community’s success,” Breeze Thru Car Wash Administrator Jenifer Wilcher said in the release.

McWhinney, Mishawaka Receive Art Award

The Colorado Business Council of the Arts (CBCA) has announced the 12 recipients of its 2023 Commercial Art Awards, which honor companies and individuals for their collaboration and engagement with the arts.

Winners include McWhinney and Mishawaka.

McWhinney has been recognized for making art and culture one of its brand pillars, bringing it to life at properties including the Dairy Block, Centerra in Loveland and Denver’s Union Station, according to a press release.

The Mishawaka Amphitheater and its philanthropic arm, the Mish Initiative, were recognized for “working with the Front Range community and beyond to expand access to live music, advance the careers of Colorado musicians, and develop policies that improve Colorado’s music ecosystem,” According to the release.

Winners will be celebrated at the Commercial Arts Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, March 7 in the Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Performing Arts Center.
