Another ground search is being planned for actor Julian Sands, who went missing in the mountains of Southern California ahead of the storm.

The British actor was first reported missing in the Bald Mountain area of ​​the San Gabriel Mountains five weeks ago.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said there was no exact date or time for the search, but ground crews would be deployed.

“A ground search for Julian Sands is being planned before the next storm hits next week,” a department spokesman told the Pennsylvania News Agency.

“We don’t have an exact date/time for the search, but ground crew will be used.”

The spokesman said weather and mountain conditions “remain an obstacle” and that if Sands is not found next week, subsequent searches will be further delayed.

Numerous searches have been conducted on foot and by air, with both state and federal agencies using special technology to help pinpoint more precise locations to focus efforts on.
