Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion has told jurors that rapper Tory Lanez slammed her after party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home He made her “dance” five times before shooting her in the foot.
The hip-hop star testified on the second day of her Los Angeles attack trial, saying she was injured during the incident.
“I was in shock. I was terrified,” the 27-year-old told jurors, according to the Los Angeles Times. “I heard the gun go off, and I couldn’t believe he was shooting me.”

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, offered her $1 million (£808,000) to keep her quiet after she was shot, she reportedly told Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center Court.
Canadian rapper Lanez, 30, pleaded not guilty to gross negligent shooting, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
Meghan testified in a purple suit.
“I just don’t feel well,” she said at the start of questioning by Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta. “I can’t believe I have to come here and do this.”
Speaking to the court about her recollections of the night, she said she left Jenner’s party in a car with Lanez, his bodyguards and her friends.
She and Lanez were intimate and had occasional sexual relations, jurors heard.

The court heard that Meghan’s friend, who had a “secret crush” on Lanez, tried to stir up trouble in the car.
The rapper said the argument spiraled out of control as she and Lanez began digging into each other’s music and careers.
“I think it really pissed him off,” she said. “He was yelling and swearing all the time.”
Meghan said she was wearing a bikini, but she got out of the car and tried to walk away.
She reportedly said it was when Lanez leaned over to shoot her and injured her instep.
At one point, he yelled, “Dance, bitch!”, she testified. “I looked down at my feet and I saw all the blood,” she said.
“Everyone is screaming now. He looks shocked.”

In opening statements, Lanez’s attorney, George Mgdesyan, said Megan’s injuries showed she was unable to see the shooter and he would present more evidence during the trial to refute her claims.
If convicted on all counts, Lanez could be sentenced to more than 22 years in prison. He could also be deported to his native Canada.
Lanez started his career in 2009 and since then has had success with mixtapes and major label recordings, with his last two albums reaching the top 10 of the US Billboard charts.
Megan Thee Stallion was a budding star at the time of the alleged incident. In 2021, she won a Grammy for Best New Artist and topped the Billboard Hot 100 with her song Savage beyoncéas a guest heart bWAP in which Jenner appears in the video.
