The two eldest sons of the Prince and Princess of Wales joined the royal family in a procession as the coffin entered Westminster Abbey in London.
Their attendance was confirmed at Buckingham Palace on Sunday evening as service orders for the event were released. The show listed the two children of Cambridge, second in line to the British throne and third in line to the throne, in the royal procession behind the Queen’s coffin.
George, 9, and Charlotte, 7, and their parents, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, will join world leaders, politicians, public figures and European royals, as well as more than 500 dignitaries from around the world to mourn the UK The longest-reigning monarch, who died on September 8 at the age of 96.
The siblings followed the coffins behind their parents, before their uncles and aunts, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Their 4-year-old brother Prince Louis did not attend the funeral.
More than 2,000 guests are expected to attend the service, which includes Bible readings and traditional hymns, as well as a sermon by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
