Quincy (WGEM) – The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce will invite two local business leaders to their Business Hall of Fame.
The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, January 30th at 11:30am. 18, 2023 at the Lindsay Center in Oakley.
This year’s winner is Carl W. Richards of Richards Electric Co. and C. David Nuessen of Quincy Metal Fabricators Inc. Newsom also served as Mayor of Quincy from 1977 to 1985.
A press release from the chamber praised the couple for their display of exceptional leadership, innovation, ethics and vision.
“This year’s honorees exemplify excellence and have made outstanding contributions to our community on multiple levels,” Bruce Guthrie, president and CEO of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce, said in a news release.
The Business Hall of Fame was established in 2006 to honor current and past business leaders, businesses and organizations who have made significant contributions to the Quincy area business community.
The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting/Business Hall of Fame ceremony is open to the public. Tickets for the ceremony and lunch are $35 per person.
