Star Wars star Mark Hamill used his voice on an air raid siren app to warn Ukrainians of an impending Russian bombing.

“Attention. Air raid siren,” he said in the calm, wise way of his famous character Luke Skywalker.

“Go to the nearest shelter.

“Don’t be careless, your overconfidence is your weakness.”

Hamill’s Skywalker voice is an option in the Air Alert app, link to Ukraineair defense system.

Whenever aid strike sirens sound in the war-torn country, app users who set Hamill as their preferred sound for everything from missiles to deadly drones will hear him utter a Jedi-esque warning.

‘May the force be with you’

The 71-year-old actor said he wanted to be involved because the conflict reminded him of star wars In the saga, a rebel army behind the guns managed to defeat an evil empire.

“Fairy tales about good and evil resonate with what’s happening in Ukraine,” he said.

Bohdan Zvonyk, 24, from the western city of Lviv, said he uses Hamill’s voice to help improve his English.

It helps that he’s also a Star Wars fan.

“We can use a little bit of the power that Hamill wants us to use,” he said.

It hopes Hamill’s star power will encourage more people to download it — adding to the 14 million who already have it.

Hamill said: “It’s really inspiring. Everyone flashes back to being six again.

“If the movie can help people get through it, that’s even better.”
