The American University of Science and Technology awarded the honorary Doctor of Humanities Doctorate.Abu-Ghazaleh

Beirut – President of the American University of Science and Technology (AUT), Ph.D. Ghada Hinain, has announced the University’s decision to confer an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters (Doctorate Honoris Causa) on Dr. HE. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Founder and Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), in recognition of his lifelong achievements in the service of humanity in the fields of knowledge and innovation.

The award ceremony was held at the graduation ceremony of 250 graduates in the presence of MP Simon Abi Ramia, representatives of Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati.

PhD. Addressing attendees at the ceremony, Hinain said: “At the University, we have managed to turn the crisis into a point of strength, determination and determination to live a bright life. She added that the youth of Lebanon are the real wealth, identity, civilization and heritage, noting that Lebanon is different from other countries and that the world desperately needs our country, Lebanon.

PhD. Abu-Ghazaleh further called for graduates to embrace innovation and invention in the field of knowledge, which is considered the key to overcoming all crises, noting that innovation is not limited to anyone and that one inventor can be the savior of an entire country.

“My belief in the importance of invention and innovation led me to establish the world’s first university of its kind, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University Institute for Innovation (TAGUCI), where graduates are based on demonstrating an invention, Not just passing the exam.”

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh presented the outstanding graduates with technical equipment manufactured by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology, a member company of TAG.Global.
