US presidential candidate Ron DeSantis was involved in a car accident.
Florida’s governor, who is running for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, was involved in an accident in Tennessee on Tuesday but was not injured, a spokesman for Florida’s governor said.
“The Governor was involved in a car accident this morning while traveling to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee,” spokesman Bryan Griffin said.
“He and his team were uninjured.”
Mr. DeSantis, The 44-year-old is considered a leading challenger to former President Donald Trump in the 2024 Republican race.
He is scheduled for events in central and eastern Tennessee on Tuesday.
