Speaking to Talk TV’s Jeremy Kyle Live: Ghislaine Behind Bars, she said: “I believe he was murdered. I’m shocked.
“And then I wondered how that happened, because as far as I’m concerned, he’s going to… I’m sure he’s going to appeal. And I’m sure he’s covered by a non-prosecution agreement.
“But I’m not in the indictment. I’m not named. I’m not even one of the co-conspirators.
“Honestly, I wish I had never met him.
“Looking back now, I probably wish I had stayed in England. But that aside, you know, I tried to leave and start another new job and move on from late ’98, ’99.
“So I hope I can move on more successfully … because I used to be a banker, so I should totally move on.”
Maxwell, daughter of the late media mogul and congressman Robert Maxwell, said she “didn’t know” Epstein was “so bad” even though he was “obvious now, of course in hindsight.”
“But at the time, I mean he had a lot of friends. He was friendly with pretty much anyone you could imagine,” she said from prison.

The photo, allegedly taken at Maxwell’s home in Mayfair, shows Prince Andrew with his arms around Ms Giuffre, who claims he had sex with her when she was underage.
Andrew questioned the authenticity of the photo and claimed to have never seen Ms Giuffre, who was Virginia Roberts at the time.
Maxwell said: “Well, it’s a fake. I don’t believe it’s real. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s not… There was never the original. Also, there are no photographs; I’ve only seen copies or it.
“I don’t believe it happened, of course the way it’s described. That’s impossible. I don’t remember going to [the private nightclub] tramp [where Ms Giuffre said Andrew danced with her].
“Of course, it’s not something I would wear.”

She told Sky News: “I think the chances of the court overturning the settlement are about 0.0%. Let’s remember the money has been paid and the court has signed off.”
Andrew did not accept negligence in the settlement.
